Shadow Knitting

I took a wonderful class about shadow knitting from Vivian Hoexbro at the Madrona Fiber Arts Winter Retreat. It was a great class and this was the result. A couple of practice squares magically turned into this cute bag. Hope Katie likes it since it will be her Valentines day present!


When you look at it from straight on, it looks like it is just striped. But if you look down at it, you see the "shadows" appear. Pretty darn cool!
